Tribu Lingganay of Alang-alang, Leyte, Representing Lingganay Festival hailed as champion for the 2nd time in “free-interpretation”. innovation, versatility and their precise movements made them won again.

Tribu Himag-ulaw of placer masbate topple down from winning 1st in 2011, 2nd in 2012 and now 3rd in this years competition but still– their performance was never boring. Crowned as the Sinulog Festival Queen 2012, besting 9 other contestants is their Lead Dancer Jamie Herrel with three special award” Best solo performer,Best in Opening Production Number and Best in Group Performance. The ladies bring themselves as they dance gracefully bearing the image of the Sto. Niño.
Talamban National High School bagged 4th, and 5th Place for “The Land of Beauty and Bounty” Lanao del nortes Sarimanok Festival
From Sinulog Based Category, Sinanduloy Cultural Troupe of Tangub performed a creative and shocking performance on stage, little did i know that the candles on each dancer will automatically glow and light on a certain spot of their performance making it an edge to every contingent in the category.They were hailed as champion with two special awards best in musicality and best in costume. They also won 1st in the street dancing competition.
Landing 2nd is Carcar City Division with an “Oh-So” Graceful and “Library Feel” Presentation making them 2nd too in the street parade. This years 3rd placer is Culturang Placereño of Placer Masbate, Last years Champion in Sinulog based category.
Fourth Place is from Talisay City Central School and Fifth Place from Apas National High School
Every year, the competition gets tighter and tougher, best of the best will arise.
