Revisiting Imelda’s Hometown House

The Santo Niño Shrine, one of the 29 presidential rest houses that the late Pres. Ferdinand Marcos had built. It was built for his wife Imelda Marcos, Who was born in Tacloban, there are 13 guest rooms with varies motifs representing the different regions of the country.The whole house was furnished with a multitude of antiques from around the world.

Sto. Niňo Shrine, the Marcoses’ mansion, reminds the people that Tacloban occupied a special place on their hearts.

 I haven’t posted all the pictures of the mansion to tease you, have a visit and see it yourself. It’s a majestic place indeed!

  1. I stayed in Tacloban for four years, but I was really busy with school that I even forgot to see the amazing things the city has. This goes to my revisit-to-do-list this coming summer.🙂
