Trekking at Usmad River, Argao

Usmad River

Experience a mixture of water challenges, sightseeing, swimming, and rock balancing along the shady beautiful river of Usmad, Argao, Cebu  a two hour bus drive  from the South Bus Terminal and when you get there look for motorcycle (habal-habal) or tricycle to transport yo to the river.  I suggest an early morning trip so you can enjoy  the place and take a picturesque view of balay sa agta cave and Bugasok Falls at the end of the river and don’t forget to look for civilians near the river they can be your guide (we paid them P500 for helping and  guiding us).

Umad River

My original trip that day was to scout alone for rice fields in Carcar, Cebu to shoot for our short film but it all changed  when me and my friends had a conversation about beautiful places to visit in the southern part of Cebu.

I went there with my “energetic cute” friends who also loves to travel and take ourselves to a place we’ve never been before— it was rainy and the rocks were slippery but “the show must go on, its now or never” and some of us decided to trek barefoot all throughout the journey.

The trek will require some leg power, patience and perseverance. The wild landscapes and rough river of Usmad is worth visiting not to mention that you’ll also see a cave and a water fall More

2012 Year-End Post

As we wait for the year to end and welcome another year–it is the perfect time to sit back and reflect memories of our ‘good old days’ of 2012 and bring those memories back to life.

Busy, Happy and Loved ; few words to describe”my 2012 experience.

There were big surprises that made my 2012 complete which i never thought it would come, It was a hectic and fun year, though there were mistakes and bad things that happened to me, – still i don’t regret of experiencing them for i believe that mistakes are sometimes the best memories we could have. Sinapdan Island :More Than The Usual Island

Experience the excitement and fun filled activities packed with action and great memories at Sinapdan Island : Picnic Grounds Beach Resort!

Many people have heard about this Island where time has stood still and wondered what it really is like.  well, Stop the wondering  and plan a vacation of  your dreams at Sinapdan island.  The island offers a great numbers of attractions to tourists. You could easily spend days in this island, full of fun filled activities: Jetski, Banana Boat, Fishing, Coral diving, Sun rise/Set viewing and many more!

Sinapdan is one of the islets near San Juanico bridge. It’s about a 10 minute pump-boat  ride from the port of Tacloban City, Leyte. As soon as you arrive you will instantly feel at home, surrounded by the sea and mountains. The atmosphere is very calm and fresh

Taking splash shots is one of those must-do things whenever in beaches, It’s fun, and it’s a lot more innovative and dynamic than jump shots or putting someone on the palm of your hand.

We were extremely lucky to even see a Sailfin Water Lizard, or locally knows as ibid  one of the endemic species in the Philippines , plus a friendly monkey.

of-course don’t forget to have a 10 Pesos boat ride for an Island tour and diving experince.

Whenever there is a magical place, I might get there, discover it and recreate the experience!

Be one of thousands of happy visitors to the Island. An experience you dare not exclude in your lifetime!

Sinapdan Island, Leyte

Sinapdan Island Leyte : A small island between the mountains and sea.

Sinapdan is one of the islets near San Juanico bridge. It’s about a 10 minute pump-boat  ride from the port of Tacloban City.  This island is a destination of fun, bonding and leisure time with family and friends.

Everyone has a place where they go to escape all the pressures and worries of life. There is always that one spot that can soothe all your problems and troubles in times of stress. For me, The beach is the ultimate cure to all of my problems. While I am there, all of my obligations are suddenly erased.

I was so lucky to see a Sailfin Water Lizard, or locally knows as ibid  one of the 165 endemic species in the Philippines included in the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s ‘Red List’ of endangered species.

It only proves that having thousands of islands in the Philippines also meant that our wild-life and marine-life are among the most diverse in the world

This Island has its own unique feeling. I love it ^_^
