It was so sudden that i attended mass in Sto. Church, I usually go to mass at Mabolo church. anyway a took pictures after the mass and wandered  around.

Painted on the ceiling of the shrine is the scene that relives the moments of the erection of the cross on Cebu Island

Magellan’s Cross, is Cebu’s most important historical landmark and an important shrine.  I bet that your travel in Cebu will not be complete without visiting this landmark,Magellan’s Cross was planted by Ferdinand Magellan when he arrived at Cebu City on 21st April, 1521. The Magellan’s Cross is kept in a small chapel, which is next to Basilica Minore del Santo Nino.

I enjoyed having a short vacation in Bohol and for sure i will return to this wonderful paradise

It is an old Roman Catholic churches. Carcar, in the province of Cebu, This church known as St. Catherine Church, was named after the town’s patron saint, St. Catherine of Alexandria, St. Catherine’s Church is the second oldest church in Cebu.
